How to Feel Comfortable Speaking in Public with Ioana Jongsma
Speaking up is how we move forward - whether it’s on a big stage like TEDx, in a pitch, a networking meeting, or a one-to-one conversation. Yet, speaking in public can feel intimidating, even for experienced professionals. In this lunch talk, Ioana Jongsma will explore why fear often shows up, how it affects our communication, and practical strategies to overcome it. She will share techniques to stay grounded, speak with clarity, and connect authentically with your audience. Participants will leave with tools to handle nerves, structure their message effectively, and communicate confidently in any setting.
Belonging & Community & Shared Experiences with Chisom Udeze
In this online lunch talk, we revisit the reflections and dialogues from The Belonging Lab, an intimate roundtable that took place at The Soulfuls Summit on November 14. You’re welcome whether you joined the workshop or not - all you need is an interest in belonging, inclusion, and community.
The Belonging Lab at The Soulfuls Summit 2025 was a space to pause, connect, and share lived experiences. Together with Chisom Udeze and voices from The Soulfuls community, the conversation explored what it means to feel included and what happens when we don’t.
Through dialogue and shared reflection, The Belonging Lab explored how to:
Turn experiences of othering into connection and care
Create spaces where more people feel seen and heard
Strengthen community through trust, openness, and shared responsibility
Chisom will, in this lunch talk, guide us through a condensed version of the Belonging Lab and share the insights and reflections that emerged during The Soulfuls Summit 2025 Belonging Lab.

How To RewriteThe Script: Members Lunch Talk Online

Because here’s the real question: How do you actually get started — and how do you know when you’re ready? And what if “ready” isn’t a feeling we wait for, but a choice we practice?

THEATRE OF BELONGING WORKSHOP 2 SUPPORTED BY THE BMW FOUNDATION
What stories of belonging and othering live in our bodies? How are we telling them in every moment, even without realising it? What stories do we receive from others, every time we meet, without exchanging words?
In this 45-minute session, you will settle into the richness of your own experience of how belonging (or the lack thereof) feels to you. You’ll be guided through creative, playful, and energetic ways to express these stories using movement, images, and voice beyond words. We will practise receiving and witnessing each other’s stories, and working with the understanding that what we tell, and what is understood can be different. Then, we will create collective stories and perform them to each other.
No prior theatre experience is required. This session includes physical movement, but can be adapted for different mobility needs if desired.
Sen Zhan is a Theatre of the Oppressed practitioner, story amplifier, and highly sensitive person. Through this work, she aims to support each participant to strengthen their sensitivity to that which is normally invisible, and to give it shape and voice through creative expression.
