Workshop Series: What is it to be in the Modelling Industry in 2021?

This workshop is part of a three part series about finding your place both in front and behind the camera in the modelling industry. Learn the secrets and tactics for success from Mona M. Ali, Founder, FIIRI and Editor of diversity and inclusion, Vogue Scandinavia as she reveals the ins and outs of the modelling industry.

PART 1: Building Your Portfolio

  • Creating a story and aesthetic, understand how to present yourself and build creative that tells the story you want

  • Understand history and context; from designers to photographers to the magazine and market you will be working in. Do your research! 

  • Understand style and aesthetics, what is a good image and how you plan to get it

Part 2: Being On Set + What To Expect

Part 3: Finding your Path + Getting Paid


Who is this workshop series for? 

  • Aspiring models and those who are new to the industry, want to understand how it all works and build their confidence

  • Creatives who are working in the fashion industry and want a refresh on their approach to working on set

  • Anyone who wants to learn more about creating a diverse and inclusive modelling industry


When? Where? What?

Times: Tuesdays, 12pm - 12.30pm CET June 1st, 8th and 15th (sessions will be recorded)

Where: Online, access links will be sent out ahead of the workshop

Cost: Free for all members, 100 DKK for Students, 200DKK for General Admission
