Last week, we invited our community for a talk and workshop on how do you get to where you want to in your career?

For you’ve finally made the decision on what industry you want to work in but it’s a minefield out there. How do you then create the right path? How do you apply and get ready for your next interview?

Our guests speaker for the day was Lakeisha Goedluck who has already gone through the trials and have worked with well known brands from ASOS, Wood Wood to Pandora and has written for big publications Another, Dazed & Confuse, … (& even for The Soulfuls Journal ). She shared from her own experience and some dos & donts of what to do in when creating your CV and in job interviews.

Lakeisha hosted a super engaging workshop, with 3 sessions, each with its own exercise that centered around CV, interviewing and networking skills.

If you don’t know what you want, you will soon be miserable! So know what you want and mention that in your interview - more you have done that, easier you can find your type of place, team or leader to join.

We also did a mockup interview, where Lakiesha invited The Soulfuls CEO, Aram Ostadian-Binai, for a interview session. A very effective way to analyse an interview scenario, and get some tips in action.
